LAHORE (Dunya News) – Federal Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, assured that no passenger with complete travel documents will be stopped from traveling.

He made these remarks during a visit to Lahore Airport, where he reviewed the immigration procedures.

Minister Naqvi observed the system linking passengers' travel history to their ID cards and passports at immigration counters. He praised the performance of the FIA Director and his team for implementing a swift immigration process. During the visit, he also interacted with passengers traveling abroad and inquired about their experience with the immigration process.

Passengers expressed satisfaction with the speed of the immigration process, with many mentioning that their immigration procedure took only two minutes. They also acknowledged that the system had improved significantly following the minister's visits.

The interior minister emphasized that passengers with complete travel documents would not be denied travel, while those with incomplete or fraudulent documents would not be allowed to board.

He stressed the importance of maintaining Pakistan's reputation, stating that no passenger whose actions could harm the country’s image would be permitted to travel.
During the visit, FIA Director Ali Zia and other relevant authorities were present.
