PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – PTI leader and former provincial minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra has been stopped from travelling abroad.

In a statement posted on social media platform X, the former minister said he was travelling to Washington, D.C., to attend an event at Georgetown University when immigration officials at Bacha Khan Airport refused to let him leave the country.

He said he was informed that his name was on the PNIL and that his passport had been deactivated.

Taimur Jhagra added that he had written a letter to the interior secretary 10 days ago but received no reply, after which he personally submitted the letter at the Interior Ministry due to concerns.
