CM Maryam Nawaz takes notice of her picture displayed on mosque

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has taken strict notice of her picture being displayed on a mosque in Mandi Bahauddin.

The Chief Minister has sought an explanation from the Deputy Commissioner and reprimanded him for allowing the act. She also directed the district administration and government departments to strictly follow SOPs regarding the use of her image.

The incident occurred at a flood relief camp mosque, where a banner featuring the Punjab government logo alongside Maryam Nawaz’s picture was displayed.

The matter sparked strong criticism on social media, with many users questioning the government’s conduct.
