LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said on Thursday that if timely measures had not been taken, the destruction caused by floods would have been far greater, adding that Allah Almighty saved the province from massive losses.

During her visit to the Ravi River, the CM said that three of Punjab’s rivers are under immense pressure, but the administration and rescue agencies worked effectively. “If timely steps had not been taken, the floods could have caused more devastation,” she remarked.
