LAHORE (Dunya News) – The election tribunal of the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday dismissed the petition filed against the approval of Rana Sanaullah’s Senate nomination papers, declaring it inadmissible.

The election tribunal, headed by Justice Khalid Ishaq, stated that the petitioner is neither a voter nor a member of parliament, therefore, he is not an aggrieved party. How can a petition be filed by someone who is not directly affected?

The court also imposed a fine of Rs500,000 on the petitioner for wasting the court's time and dismissed the petition as inadmissible.
