Written directive instructed the Adiala Jail superintendent to allow entry to all lawyers, family
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A significant development has emerged in the Toshakhana II case against former prime minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, as the court has issued written orders permitting lawyers and family members to attend jail trial hearings.
Special Judge Central, Shah Rukh Arjumand, issued the written directive instructing the Adiala Jail superintendent to allow entry to all lawyers who have submitted their power of attorney, as well as family members present outside the jail premises, during court proceedings.
The order was passed on a petition filed by Barrister Salman Safdar, who had challenged the restriction on lawyers and family members during the jail hearings. Following the directive to the superintendent, the court disposed of the petition.
