Says compassion for humanity akin to worship
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday emphasised that humanity is a noble attribute that transcends all relationships and borders.
In her message on World Humanitarian Day, she stated that being a source of comfort and ease for others is the true service of humanity, a spirit that is above race, religion, and all forms of prejudice.
She highlighted the significance of humanitarian efforts in the current global context, noting that the cries of innocent martyrs in Gaza and the suffering of the Kashmiri people are shaking the conscience of every sensitive heart.
She further stated that compassion for humanity is akin to worship and is the greatest service. She affirmed that every action and project of the Punjab government is dedicated to humanitarian efforts and public service. She expressed a commitment to building a world where peace, love, and humanity flourish.
