KARACHI (Dunya News) –The situation worsened after a fire broke out yesterday at a textile factory in the Landhi Export Processing Zone of Karachi. However, thanks to the timely and continuous efforts of the fire brigade, the fire in both affected factories has now been completely brought under control.

According to Shahzad Khan, spokesperson for the Landhi Export Processing Zone, the fire initially broke out in the textile factory and was brought under control around 7 PM. However, at around 11 PM, flames suddenly erupted again from the same affected building and spread to a nearby cardboard factory.

According to the spokesperson, a flame from the textile factory landed on the roof of the cardboard factory, igniting another fire. Given the seriousness of the situation, 11 fire brigade vehicles were immediately deployed, and after several hours of struggle, the fire was completely extinguished.

Khan further stated that the textile factory, which had partially collapsed the previous day, is now fully under control, and there is no longer any danger.
