A healthy mind is foundation of positive thinking, says CM Maryam

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, emphasized that a healthy mind is the foundation of positive thinking and constructive decision-making.

In her message on World Brain Day, the CM stated that the human brain is one of the most remarkable creations of the Creator — it is the most complex and astonishing system in the universe. She added that neglecting mental health is equivalent to neglecting life itself.

She highlighted that people suffering from mental illnesses not only endure personal suffering but are also often subjected to social apathy and negligence. The Punjab government, she said, is actively working to prevent mental illnesses, improve treatment, and raise awareness.

She further noted that World Brain Day serves as a reminder to focus on mental health issues, stressing that mental health is just as important as physical health and must be treated with equal seriousness.
