QUETTA (Dunya News) - The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), in a successful counter-terrorism operation, killed three terrorists in the Dasht area of Mastung district, Balochistan.

According to CTD sources, the operation was launched to track down associates of the suspect involved in the killing of Musawir Kakar. Upon spotting the CTD team, the terrorists opened fire, triggering an intense exchange. One of the armed suspects was killed by fire from his group during the clash.

Two additional terrorists were shot dead in the encounter. All three were reportedly affiliated with a banned organization and had been involved in multiple serious crimes, including terrorism, murder, attempted murder, and other violent activities.

Authorities also recovered a large cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives from their hideout, further preventing potential attacks.
