ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and ahis Iranian counterpart Brigadier General Eskandar Momeni held a telephone conversation wherein they discussed expected visit of Iran’s President, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, scheduled for July 26.

He described the visit as a significant opportunity to strengthen bilateral ties and enhance cooperation between the two neighboring countries.

The Iranian minister also expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and property caused by recent floods in Pakistan.

Momeni conveyed heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and affirmed Iran’s readiness to provide all possible assistance to those affected. “Iran stands with the government and people of Pakistan in this difficult time,” he stated.

The Iranian minister also thanked Mohsin Naqvi for his recent visit to Iran, calling it a symbol of growing mutual trust and collaboration.

In response, Minister Naqvi appreciated the goodwill shown by Iranian leadership and emphasized Pakistan’s high regard for its fraternal relations with Iran.

“Pakistan eagerly awaits the visit of President Dr. Pezeshkian, which will further deepen the strong bond between our nations,” Naqvi added.
