President, PM vow to eradicate all forms of terrorism from country

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday paid tribute to Pakistan Army, Police, Levies, Counter-Terrorism Department and district administration for successful joint operation against Fitna-al-Khawarij terrorists in Malakand district.

The President said, “Security forces are always determined to eradicate terrorism.” “Terrorism will be defeated at all costs with the unity of the nation,” he said adding, “The state will continue to take action against terrorism with full force.”

The president further said that terrorists of Fitna al Hindustan would be brought to justice. He also reiterated the resolve that the State would continue its steps with full strength against terrorism, President Secretariat Press Wing said in a press release.

While praising the security forces and supporting agencies for killing nine Fitna-al-Khawarij terrorists, the prime minister said, “The entire nation stands with security forces in the war against terrorism.”

The government was firm in its drive to eradicate all forms of terrorism from the country, he added.
