KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) will now conduct the forensic examination of the weapons retrieved from Armaghan, the main accused in the Mustafa Amir Murder Case, Dunya news reported.

According to sources, the CTD would probe how had the accused acquired the weapons used in killing the teenager, Mustafa Amir, with the scope of investigation extending to the smugglers arrested for selling illegal weapons.

A special investigation team may also seek help from DG-Anti Narcotics to determine the purpose and origin of the heavy weaponry retrieved from Armaghan.

It must be noted that the police had recovered heavy, non-prohibited bore weapons from Armaghan’s residence.
