SEHWAN (Dunya News) – Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has condemned recent accidents in Karachi, urging that they should not be used for political gains.
Speaking to the media at the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, he expressed these views while attending the Urs’ closing ceremony and prayed for the prosperity of the country and province.
He noted that over 2.5 million pilgrims visited Sehwan, and some accidents occurred due to incomplete roads.
He refrained from making any political comments at the shrine.
Murad Ali Shah criticised the federal government for delaying the completion of the 134-km Sehwan-Jamshoro road, despite Sindh providing Rs7 billion in 2017.
He urged the federal government to compete road projects in Sindh.
