Woman facilitator in Karachi suicide attack on Chinese engineers arrested

Investigations by security agencies identified the bomber and two facilitators through CCTV footage
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjhar announced the arrest of a woman accused of facilitating the suicide attack on Chinese engineers near the Karachi airport signal.
In a press conference along with Sindh IGP Ghulam Nabi Memon, Lanjhar reported that the recent suicide bombing had claimed the lives of two Chinese nationals and one Pakistani citizen.
The banned BLA claimed responsibility for the attack. Security agencies identified the bomber and two facilitators through CCTV footage. The vehicle used was purchased in Karachi for Rs7.1 million, with financial trails traced through bank transactions.

Authorities also tracked down a connected rickshaw and additional suspects, and a reward of Rs50 million was announced for the CTD team involved in the investigation.
