Punjab CM stresses need to provide facilities for women lawyers
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz has directed for establishment of bar rooms and day care centers for women lawyers in three districts of Punjab.
Women lawyers requested the high court for the provision of said facilities.
Punjab CM directed the Department of Communication and Works for immediate establishment of ladies bar rooms.
Action has been initiated for the construction of ladies bar rooms in the far flung areas of Attock, Bahawalpur and Lodhran.
The Department of C and W had devised a standard map for bar rooms in three districts.
Punjab CM stressed for provision of basic facilities in the workplace for women lawyers.
Establishment of ladies bar rooms in other districts was also being considered.
