IHC issues written order in Intezar Panjotha's recovery case

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued a written order regarding the hearing for the recovery of Intezar Hussain Panjotha.

Chief Justice Amir Farooq released the written order from the last hearing, with the next hearing scheduled for October 21.

The report presented in court stated that Intezar Panjotha was not in the custody of any security agency.

A special team has been formed under the SSP Investigation, and the court has appointed the SSP Investigation as the focal person for the case, who would remain in contact with Faisal Chaudhry, the counsel for the petitioner.

Additionally, IHC has order that the footage related to Intezar Panjotha be shared with the petitioner's lawyer.

The written order also mentioned that a letter has been sent to the Intelligence Bureau (IB) to trace Panjotha's location, and a report from the IB should be submitted to the court before the next hearing.
