Accountability court adjourns 190 million-pound case hearing

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - An accountability court on Friday adjourned the hearing of the £190 million corruption reference against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi.
Judge Nasir Javed Rana heard the case, with both Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi present. During the proceedings, Bushra Bibi’s lawyer, Usman Riaz Gul, continued cross-examining the investigating officer, Mian Umar Nadeem. On the previous hearing, Imran Khan's lawyer, Chaudhry Zaheer Abbas, had completed his cross-examination.

NAB prosecutors asked to adjourn the hearing until Saturday, September 21, but the court denied it, rescheduling the next hearing for Tuesday, September 24.
