ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has confirmed that the necessary support for the constitutional amendments was in place and it would be presented in Parliament today.
Asif also addressed the issue of extending Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa's tenure, stating that it was incorrect and that any judicial reforms introduced would be of a collective nature, not individual.
Additionally, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar supported this position, asserting that the debate over the constitutional amendments had moved beyond just the numbers game.
