Man, his four children were killed in the accident
SHEIKHUPURA (Dunya News) - A road accident on Sheikhupura Road, near Sachasoda has claimed lives of five persons of a family, Dunya News reported here on Monday.
According to Rescue 1122, the accident occurred between a motorcycle and a car. It said the accident took place due to reckless driving as an overspeeding car rammed into a motorcycle coming from opposite direction.
As a result of this head-on collision, the motorcyclist identified as Shehzad and his four children including two sons and two daughters were killed instantly.
The children were identified as Fiza, Mehek, Faizan and Sifiyan, whose bodies were shifted to hospital.
The car driver managed to escape under the cover darkness. On information, rescuers and police reached the spot and launched an investigation.
The ill-fated family members belonged to Lahore and went to Farooqabad to meet their relatives. Police said the dead bodies will be handed over to the bereaved family after post-mortem.
