LAHORE (Dunya News) – As other parts of the country, Namaz-e-Eidul Azha (Eid prayers) was also held at Model Town’s Central Park.
Hafiz Muhammad Rafique gave Eid sermon and shed light on the importance of Sunnat-e-Ibrahimi (AS).
A large number of citizens gathered to perform Eidul Azha prayers at Model Town’s Central Park.
There were separate sitting arrangements for men and women in the Central Park.
Dunya Media Group Chairman Mian Amer Mahmood, accompanied by his son Hamza Mahmood, offered Eid prayers at the Central Park.
Model Town Society president Sahibzada Saif-ur-Rehman, MPA Shoaib Siddiqui, Rana Nazir and other distinguished personalities performed Eid prayers.
Tight security measures were taken in and around the Central Park to avoid any untoward incident.
The faithful prayed for the well-being and progress of the country, particularly for the people of Palestine and Kashmir who are fighting against the oppressors.
