Yousuf Raza Gilani says all institutions should work within their constitutional limits
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Senate Chairman Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said on Monday it was up to the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) to decide about joining the federal cabinet.
The party already had constitutional posts in the federation and provinces, he said while responding to media persons’ queries after performing the groundbreaking of residential towers in Askari 2.
The Senate chairman said the PPP was known for taking mature decisions. It was the PPP which had restored the 1973 Constitution, besides abolishing the 58-2B clause, he added.
Replying to a question, he said the future of political parties was linked with people’s liking and disliking. To another question, he said all the institutions should work within their constitutional limits.
As regards the construction of towers in cities, he said it would create jobs for the people.
