ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar said on Saturday law would take its course in the matter related to PTI founder Imran Khan’s controversial social media post drawing comparison between current political situation and fall of Dhaka.

The former premier, who has been incarcerated in Adiala jail for months, landed in hot waters once again after the controversial video was posted from his X account.

“Every Pakistani should study the Hamoodur Rahman Commission Report and get to know who was the true traitor, General Yahya Khan or Sheikh Mujibur Rahman,” the quote which was attributed to Khan in the post.

Talking to Dunya News, Mr Tarar said PTI might be shooting itself in the foot, adding that the party had not even conducted intra-party elections despite losing its electoral symbol.

Expressing concerns over the prevailing culture of intolerance in the country, the minister emphasised the need of bringing change in social behaviours.
