Sri Lanka to set 43 Pakistani prisoners at liberty

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has sought commitment from Sri Lankan authorities about release of 43 Pakistanis from their jails.
The minister met the Sri Lankan high commissioner and they agreed on release of 43 prisoners languishing in jails in the island country.
The two leaders also agreed to put in concerted efforts to improve security and fight against the menace of drugs.
Naqvi said the prisoners would come back to Pakistan after completing formalities in the next few days.
