SJC meeting called for LHC CJ appointment

The current LHC Chief Justice Amir Bhatti is retiring on March 7 next month
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Supreme Court (SC) has called a meeting of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan to finalise appointment of Lahore High Court (LHC) chief justice.
The meeting will be held under chairmanship of Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Qazi Faez Isa on February 23.
In the meeting, the appointment of senior judge LHC Malik Shehzad Ahmed as the LHC Chief Justice will be considered.
