(Web Desk) - The results of the Feb 8 election have been completed.  

A tough battle is visible between the independent candidates and the PML-N on the National Assembly seats.

As for the provinces, the PML-N and independent candidates are involved in a fierce battle in Punjab. In Sindh, the PPP has emerged victorious and successfully guarded its turf.

Independent candidates have achieved massive successes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In Balochistan, the PPP has won more seats followed closely by the JUI, the PML-N and independents.

Let's have a look at the results that have come out.  

Punjab – PML-N leading amidst tough challenge from independents

It should be started with the country’s largest province in terms of population. A tough battle between the PML-N and independent candidates is visible. Even before elections, it was predicted that the independents backed by the PTI would give the PML-N a run for their votes.

The results of 297 seats of the Punjab assembly have been declared.

Out of the total 297, PML-N has emerged as a leading party with 137 seats. The independents backed by PTI have given the PML-N a tough challenge as they garnered 112 seats.

PPP-P took 10 seats as IPP, TLP, PML-Z took one seat each.

The major constituencies include:

PP-31

In PP-31 Gujrat 6, Shafay Hussain of Pakistan Muslim League-Q won with 64,132 votes, while independent candidate Mudassar Raza stood second with 48,311 votes.

PP-32

In PP-32 Gujrat, PML-Q’s Chaudhry Salik Hussain won by getting 55,615 votes while independent candidate Parvez Elahi was runner up with 44,713 votes.

PP-37

On PP-37 Hafizabad, PML-N’s Mian Shahid Hussain Khan came first with 59,853 votes while independent candidate Chaudhry Muhammad Asadullah was second with 41,800 votes.

PP-45

On PP-45 Sialkot, PML-N candidate Tariq Subhani won with 63,651 votes, independent candidate Umar Javed Ghuman was second with 52,859 votes.

PP-86

According to the unofficial results of all 202 polling stations of PP-86 Mianwali, independent candidate Aminullah Khan emerged victorious with 85,318 votes as another independent candidate Adil Abdullah Khan was runner up with 19,794 votes.

PP-92

According to the results of all 154 polling stations of PP-92 Bhakkar, independent candidate Muhammad Amir Inayat Shahani was successful with 41,084 votes while another independent candidate Rafiq Ahmad Khan Niazi was second with 32,941 votes.

PP-146

PML-N’s Ghazali Saleem Butt won this seat as he garnered 30,587 votes while independent candidate Junaid Razak came second with 28,515 votes.

PP-147

PML-N candidate Hamza Shehbaz won this seat with 51,838 votes while independent candidate Muhammad Khan Madani was second with 46,494 votes and TLP’s Azam Waheed was third with 17,022 votes.

PP-148

PML-N candidate Mujtaba Shujaur Rahman emerged as the winner with 37,998 votes while independent candidate Saba Dewan was unsuccessful who could get only 31,560 votes.

PP-149

Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party’s Abdul Aleem Khan won the seat with 51,756 votes while independent candidate Zeeshan Rasheed lost with 47,998 votes.

PP-150

PML-N’s Khawaja Imran Nazir won the seat with 34,956 votes while independent candidate Abdul Karim Khan was second with 30,314 votes.

PP-153

PML-N’s Khawaja Salman Rafique garnered 35,232 votes while independent candidate Mian Owais Anjum stood second with 33,027 votes.

PP-157

Independent candidate Hafiz Farhat Abbas won with 45,036 votes while PML-N candidate Mian Nasir Ahmed failed with 27,039 votes.

PP-158

PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif was declared successful as he garnered 38,642 votes while his opponent Yusuf Wali got 23,847 votes.

PP-159

PML-N’s Maryam Nawaz Sharif was declared as winner with 23,354 votes while independent candidate Meher Sharafat Ali stood second with 21,191 votes.

PP-171

Independent candidate Mian Aslam Iqbal was declared as winner by getting 61,847 votes while PML-N candidate Meher Ishtiaq Ahmed could get only 36,955 votes.

PP-172

In PP-172 Lahore, independent candidate Misbah Wajid won with 31,378 votes while PML-N’s Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan was second with 28,647 votes.

PP-174

PML-N candidate Bilal Yasin won by getting 36,265 votes while his opponent independent candidate Chaudhry Muhammad Asghar got 33,953 votes.

Sindh - PPP successfully guards its turf 

As per the election commission website, out of the result announced on 129 seats, the PPP has won 84. Independents have won 13, MQM won 28, GDA and JI won two seats respectively.

PS-3

On PS-3 Jacobabad, independent candidate Mir Mumtaz Hussain Khan was the winner with 39,500 votes while Mir Warangzeb Panhor stood second with 29,700 votes.

PS-4

According to the result of all 145 polling stations of PS-4 Kashmore, PPP’s Haji Abdul Rauf Khoso won by getting 58,046 votes while Independent candidate Mir Ghalib Hussain Khan came second with 25,758 votes.

PS-5

According to the unofficial final results of all 136 stations from PS-5 Kashmir, PPPP’s Sardar Ghulam Abid was successful with 31,132 votes while Rab Nawaz of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan stood second with 21,052 votes.

PS-9

According to the unofficial results of all polling stations of PS-9 Shikarpur, PPP's Agha Siraj Durrani won with 63,760 votes, JUIF's Rushdullah Shah stood second with 25,634 votes.

PS-10

PPP’s Faryal Talpur won the provincial assembly constituency of PS-10 Larkana, as per the unofficial result.

As per it, Talpur won with 85,917 votes while JUIF's Kifayatullah came second with 18,475 votes.

PS-25

According to the unofficial final results, PPP’s Nasir Hussain Shah won from PS-25 Sukkur with 51,792 votes while JUI’s Ameer Bakhsh got 25,059 votes.

PS-26

On Khairpur’s PS 26 constituency, PPP’s Qaim Ali Shah was declared victorious with 47,234 votes while his opponent GDA's Imam Bakhsh stood second with 19,567 votes.

PS-37

On this Shaheed Benazirabad seat, PPP’s Javed Iqbal emerged successful by getting 70,383 votes while independent candidate Inayat Ali Rand got 20,492 votes.

PS-47

PPP’s Noor Ahmad Bhargari was elected with 56,522 votes as his competitor Azad Ahmed Faisal Kachhilo got only 17,420 votes.

PS-60

According to unofficial final results, PPP's Jam Khan Shoro won from PS-60 with 37,538 votes while GDA's Ayaz Latif Plaju got 6,922 votes.

PS-61

On this seat, PPP's Sharjeel Inam Memon was declared successful with 63,079 votes while JUIF's candidate Saeed Ahmed Talpur stood second with 11,367 votes.

PS-77

According to the results from PS-77 Jamshoro, former Sindh CM from PPP Syed Murad Ali Shah won with 74,613 votes while GDA's Roshan Ali stood second with 10,268 votes.

PS-85

According to the unofficial final results, PPP’s Muhammad Sajid stood first with 27,791 votes as his opponent PML-N’s Pir Hafeezullah got 14,304 votes.

PS-105

PPP's Saeed Ghani came first with 26,168 votes on PS-105 with Irfanullah Marwat of GDA coming on the second number with 20,111 votes.

PS-124

According to the unofficial final results, MQM-P’s Abdul Basit won with 31,035 while JI’s Muhammad Ahmed got 18,438 votes.

PS-125

According to the unofficial final results, MQM-P’s Syed Adil Askari won with 63,812 votes in PS 125, while his opponent JI’s Muhammad Farooq Nimatullah got 49,943 votes.

PS-129

JI’s Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman won this seat with 26,296 votes while MQM-P’s Muaz Muqaddam came second with 20,608 votes.

KP – independents everywhere

The unofficial results of the seats of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial assembly have also been declared.

Out of the 115 of the KP assembly, the results on 110 have been announced.

Independent candidates, it appears after the results, have established their presence everywhere as they emerged victorious on 90 seats.

JUI and PML-N have taken seven and five seats respectively. PPPP and JI have succeeded on three seats each. Meanwhile, PTI-P and ANP have succeeded on one seat each.

PK-5 Swat 3

Independent candidate Akhtar Khan won PK-5 seat by getting 24,055 votes while JUI candidate candidate stood second with 15,462 votes.

PK-7 Swat5

According to the result, independent candidate Amjad Ali won with 25,129 votes while his rival Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-Parliamentarians candidate Habib Ali Shah came second with 13,915 votes.

PK-12 Dirbala

According to the results, independent candidate Muhammad Yameen won with 23,915 votes while JI's Azam Khan came second with 12,531 votes.

PK-14 Lower Dir

Independent candidate Muhammad Azam Khan stood first with 31,200 votes, while JI candidate Sahibzada Muhammad Yaqub stood second with 16,552 votes.

PK-18 Lower Dir

Independent candidate Liaquat Ali Khan came first with 24,625 votes while JI candidate came second.

PK-20 Bajaur

In PK-20 Bajaur, JI candidate Waheed Gul won with 13,039 votes while independent candidate Anwar Zeib Khan came second with 12,903 votes.

PK-24 Malakand

According to the result, independent candidate Musawar Khan won with 43,193 votes while PPPP’s Syed Muhammad Ali Shah came second with 22,191 votes.

PK-27 Bonair

According to the result, independent candidate Abdul Kabir Khan came first with 27,821 votes while ANP’s Sardar Hussain came second with 15,439 votes.

PK-30 Shangla

PML-N’s Abaadullah Khan came first with 14,221 votes as independent candidate Sadrul Rehman came second with 13,863 votes.

PK 32 Kohistan Lower

In PK-32 Kohistan Lower, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s Sajjad Ullah won with 13,826 votes while independent candidate Khan Member stood second with 12,496 votes.

PK-36 Mansehra

Independent candidate Munir Hussain won this seat by getting 35,074 votes while PML-N’s Syed Junaid Ali Qasim stood second with 30,414 votes

PK-40 Mansehra

In a tough battle, PML-N’s Sardar Shah Jahan Yusuf won with 44,012 votes while independent candidate Abdul Shakoor Khanna stood second with 43,680 votes.

PK-45 Abbottabad

Independent candidate Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani won with 50,143 votes as PML-N’s Muhammad Arshad came second with 27,498 votes.

PK-48 Haripur

Independent candidate Gohar Nawaz Khan won by getting 21,737 votes while another independent candidate Faisal Zaman got second place by getting 19,001 votes.

PK-49 Swabi

Independent candidate Rangiz Ahmed won by getting 36,692 votes as JUI candidate Ghafoor Khan Jadoon got second place.

PK-51 Swabi

Independent candidate Abdul Karim Khan won with 39,653 votes while PML-N candidate Nawabzada stood second with 17,898 votes.

Balochistan – PPP leading, followed by JUI

Of the result of 48 provincial assembly seats, the PPP has grabbed 11, JUI won nine and independents garnered six seats.
The important seats with the candidacy details are mentioned:

PB-1 Sherani, Zhob

The constituency surrounds Sherani and Zhob. JUIF's Mohammad Nawaz won with 14,183 votes and independent candidate Shah Nawaz Kakar came second with 8,562 votes.

PB-3 Fort Saifullah

Independent candidate Maulana Noorullah was successful with 24,408 votes while JUIF's Maulana Abdul Wasi was second with 20,661 votes.

PB-8 Sibi

PPP’s Sardar Sarfaraz Chakar Domki won with 27,677 votes while independent candidate Mir Muhammad Asghar Khan Marri stood second with 23,769 votes.

PB-10 Dera Bugti

From PB-10, PPPP’s Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti won the election by getting 52,485 votes, while Ghoram Bugti of Jamhuri Watan Party got 25,773 votes and independent candidate Mir Aftab Ahmed Bugti got third place by getting 1,035 votes.

PB-11 Jhal Magsi

Balochistan Awami Party's Nawabzada Tariq Magsi won from this constituency with 44,556 votes while BNP's Mir Murtaza Abbas stood second with 1,244 votes and independent candidate Abdul Majeed came third with 868 votes.

PB-16 Jaffarabad

Jamaat-e-Islami's Abdul Majeed Badini won with 15,228 votes while PML-N's Rahat Faiq Jamali got 14,131 votes.

PB 17 Awsta Muhammad

PPPP’s Faisal Khan Jamali won with 28,333 votes while BAP’s Mir Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali stood second with 13,977 votes and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan’s Muhammad Aslam secured the third position with 2,294 votes.

PB 18 Khuzdar

PPP's Sardar Sanaullah Khan Zehri was successful with 20,014 votes and JUIF's Ghulam Sarwar was second with 13,791 votes.

PB-20 Khuzdar

Balochistan National Party's Muhammad Akhtar Mengal was successful with 28,097 votes and independent candidate Mir Shafiqur Rehman Mengal was second with 9,243 votes.

PB-22 Lasbella

PML-N's Jam Kamal Khan won with 38,562 votes, while Pakistan PPPP’s Mohammad Hassan got second with 18,373 votes and Balochistan National Party's Jahanzeb Qasim got third with 6,337 votes.

PB-28 Katch

According to the unofficial final results, PPP’s Mir Asghar Rind was successful with 7,090 votes and National Party's Mir Hamal was second with 4,366 votes.

PB 32 Chagai

BAP candidate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani won with 19,091 votes, while Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan's Amanullah came second with 17,178 votes and PPPP’s Muhammad Arif came third with 7,490 votes.

PB-35 Saurab

JUI-F’s Zafarullah Khan Zahri won this seat. Zahri garnered 16,579 votes while PPP’s Nimatullah Khan Zahri got 11,113 votes.

PB-37 Mustang

Nawab Mohammad Aslam Khan Raisani was ahead with 13,668 votes while while PPPP’s Sardar Ahmad Noor Bangalzai stood second with 11,426 votes.

PB-41 Quetta

Independent candidate Wali Muhammad won by getting 9318 votes as another independent candidate Abdul Ghaffar Khan Kakar came second with 7,270 votes.

PB-44 Quetta

PPPP's Obaidullah won with 7,125 votes and National Party's Mir Atta Muhammad Bangalzai stood second with 6,385 votes.

PB 49 Pusheen 3

JUI’s Syed Zafar Ali Agha of Balochistan Provincial Constituency won with 13,811 votes, while Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party’s Syed Liaquat Ali got second spot with 12,778 votes.

PB-51 Chaman

Independent candidate Abdul Khaliq Khan won this Constituency by getting 20,390 votes while ANP’s Asghar Khan was second with 19,623 votes.
