Sheikh Rashid's bail plea in May 9 riots has been accepted
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - The Rawalpindi anti-terrorism court has ordered the authorities to release Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rashid after approving his bail in the May 9 riots case.
Anti-Terrorism Court's judge Malik Ijaz Asif heard the bail plea of Sheikh Rashid in the May 9 riots case.

The former interior minister was asked to submit surety bonds of Rs0.2 million and he would be released from Adiala jail after the due process.

Sheikh Rashid's counsel Sardar Abdul Razzaq and Sardar Shehbaz appeared before the court. The prosecution lawyer was absent during the hearing.
