MULTAN (Dunya News) - Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Thursday inaugurated a 500-bed state-of-the-art Nishtar-II Hospital spanning over 57 acre. 

Provincial ministers Dr Javed Akram, Amir Mir, Mansoor Nasir, the Punjab IGP, additional chief secretary South Punjab, VC NMU, Multan commissioner, and RPO were present. 

Completed at a cost of Rs10 billion, the health facility has 10 operation theatres (OTs) and labour rooms besides CT scan, MRI and other facilities. It also has an inn, cafeteria and other facilities for patients’ attendants. 

The chief minister paid visit to different wards, OPDs, labour rooms and other sections of the hospital. He inquired after the patients and asked about the facilities being extended to them. 

Later, CM Naqvi inaugurated South City Hospital which was under construction since 2014. The health facility was accomplished in a short period of time.
