90,675 polling stations established for Feb 8 elections: ECP

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has released the summary of polling stations and booths for the upcoming elections on Feb 8.
According to the commission, a total of 90,675 polling stations are established across the country of which 25,320 polling stations would be for men and 23,950 for women.
Similarly, 41,405 combined polling stations would also be operational.
The summary said around 50,944 polling stations would be set up in Punjab, of which 14,556 for men and 14,036 for women while 22,352 combined polling station would also be operational.
Likewise, around 19,006 polling station would be set up in Sindh, 4,439 for men, 4,308 for women and 10,259 joint polling station would also be established.
Around 15,697 polling stations would be set up in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 4,814 for men, 4,289 for women and 6,594 combined polling stations would also be operational.
Around 5,028 polling stations would be set up in Baluchistan for men and women.
Furthermore, around 149,434 polling booths would be in Punjab, 65,005 in Sindh, 47,081 in KP and 14,882 in Balochistan.
