BAHAWALPUR (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) president and former prime minister Shehbaz Sharif has said Ahmadpur East will be made a district.

Addressing a rally in Ahmedpur East on Tuesday, Shehbaz said Nawaz Sharif had served Bahawalpur in a very unique way, building roads and Danish schools, where every rich and poor could get education.

Shehbaz said Nawaz had provided free medicine and CT scan tests in all hospital in Punjab.

Shehbaz pledged to extend loans to the people to start new business.

“I will build Danish schools in every district of South Punjab,” he said, adding that he dedicated Rs1,000 stipends for girls in schools in South Punjab.

“In the floods in South Punjab in 2010, I was present among the people and the welcome I received was exemplary”.
