Hiba Chaudhry gets disqualified for concealing financial record
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Fawad Chaudhry’s wife, Hiba Chaudhry, becomes ineligible to contest elections on the allegation of concealing financial details.
Hiba Chaudhry didn’t disclose the record about three foreign tours and nine bank accounts, says the returning officer.
The Election Tribunal upheld the objection against Hiba Chaudhry and disqualified her from contesting election from the provincial constituency of Jhelum.
The FIA and the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) presented the record of foreign tours and bank accounts in court.
Fawad's approval orders for NA-60 and NA-61 nomination papers have also been withdrawn.
Fawad Chaudhry has been summoned by court on Jan 9 for "hiding key financial details in the nomination papers."
