ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – An accountability court in Islamabad has issued notices to PPP Co Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and others to appear in court in Park Lane reference.

As the proceedings started, defence counsel Arshad Tabraiz took the stance that at the time of agreement Asif Zardari was not the director of Park Lane. The court said notices were being issued to respondents and rest of the details about the case could be produced later.

The court issued notices to Zardari and 18 other accused directing them to appear in court. Other accused in the case are Muhammad Iqbal, Younas Qidwai, Iqbal Khan Noori, Hussain Lawai, Abdul Ghani Majeed, Khawaja Anwar Majeed and M Farooq Abdullah.

The accountability court, while issuing notices to all accused, deferred hearing of the reference till December 20.
