ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The city administration imposed on Thursday a two-day ban on the flying and operating drones in the federal capital Islamabad, Dunya News reported.

Flying drones during any ceremony, public meeting and on Margalla Hills has been prohibited. The decision to ban use of drones was taken in an emergency security meeting chaired by the IG police and attended by senior police officers.

Instructions have been issued to all police officials to ensure compliance of this order. Anyone found violating the ban on flying drones could face a police case.
