LAHORE (Dunya News) – Hearing of PTI chairman’s petition on cancellation of his bails in seven cases, including Jinnah House attack, could not be held as cause list was cancelled.
A division bench of the Lahore High Court, headed by Justice Aliya Neelum, was to hear the petition of the PTI chief.
Barrister Salman Safdar had moved the high court against cancellation of bails and made the Attock Jail superintendent and others party to the case.
The petitioner submitted that he was being politically victimised. He was sentenced on Aug 5 in the Toshakhana case. He was arrested soon after the cancellation of his bail.
The petitioner requested the court to consider his pleas on merit.
It may be recalled that an anti-terrorism court had cancelled PTI chief’s bails in seven cases pertaining to May 9 mayhem registered against him.
