Medical report says PTI president not fit to travel a long distance
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf President and former Punjab chief minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi who was arrested in money laundering case could not be produced in FIA central court on Monday.
FIA central court conducted hearing of the money laundering case against former Punjab CM Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and his son Moonis Elahi.
Adiala Jail officials submitted a report about health of PTI president in the court. The medical report said Elahi was not fit and was unable to travel a long distance from Rawalpindi to Lahore to attend court hearing.
On poor health grounds, Elahi could not be produced in the court, the report said. The court, while issuing summons, had ordered jail officials to produce Elahi in the court on Monday (today).
