KARACHI (Dunya News) - The NAB reference hearing against former federal finance minister Dr Hafeez Shaikh was adjourned until November 14, with no immediate development.

This adjournment follows the Supreme Court's directive to hear the NAB reference against former Finance Minister Abdul Hafeez Shaikh.

Previously, the accountability court (AC) had served a notice to Hafeez Shaikh, confirming the revival of the reference against him based on the Supreme Court's decision. The allegations against him involve a substantial loss of 11.125 million dollars to the national kitty.

In light of these developments, the accountability court postponed the NAB reference hearing against Dr Hafeez Shaikh until November 14, keeping an interest in the case.
