LAHORE (Dunya News) - Thousands of PML-N workers have reached Lahore to welcome their leader and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif who has landed in Pakistan after four years. 

Scores of caravans of PML-N workers are on their way to Lahore while many have already reached to give a warm welcome to party’s supremo at Greater Iqbal Park.

A special train from Sukkur will reach Lahore today afternoon while another train from KP ‘Umeed-e-Pakistan’ is also on its way to Lahore. 

The caravans from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Jhelum, Peshawar, Quetta, Hyderabad, DI Khan, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit and other parts of the country have reached Lahore.

The PML-N workers are jubilant over the homecoming of the three-time prime minister. A large number of PML-N workers were seen at Minar-e-Pakistan on Friday night when Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shehbaz visited the venue to review the arrangements. They were dancing to the tunes of drumbeats in jubilation.

Meanwhile, the PML-N has arranged more than 40,000 chairs at Minar-e-Pakistan for the public address of Nawaz Sharif.

Heavy lights, music and large screens have also been arranged for the address of former PM who will deliver the most important speech of his political career today.
