JCP meets today to nominate Justice Irfan Saadat as SC judge

Justice Irfan Saadat Khan is currently serving as Acting Chief Justice of Sindh High Court
The JCP sitting, chaired by Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa, will deliberate upon elevating Justice Irfan Saadat of the Sindh High Court to the apex court. Justice Irfan Saadat Khan is currently serving as Acting Chief Justice of Sindh High Court.
In case Justice Irfan Saadat is elevated to Supreme Court, Justice Aqeel Abbasi will be the Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court.
The Judicial Commission will send its recommendations to parliamentary committee for its approval. Presently, two vacancies of the judges are lying vacant at the Supreme Court.
