Zardari calls on Fazl, condoles death of his mother-in-law
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former president Asif Ali Zardari called on Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence on Monday.
According to details, the PPP co-chairman expressed condolences over the death of Fazlur Rehman’s mother-in-law and recited fateha.
The two leaders also discussed the current political situation in the country during their meeting which lasted 50 minutes. JUI-F leader Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri was also present on the occasion.
It may be noted here that the gulf between the JUI-F and PPP has widened during the past few years, during which the two parties have traded different accusations.
