No official protocol for Nawaz Sharif in London: Murtaza Solangi
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Caretaker Information Minister Murtaza Solangi said that Nawaz Sharif was not given official protocol in London.
He highlighted that there hasn't been any discussion within the caretaker cabinet about Nawaz Sharif's return, and he doesn't rely on assumptions or speculation.
The caretaker government's primary goals are to maintain good relations with all parties, guarantee fair and acceptable elections, and uphold freedom of expression in the media.
Solangi also commented on the timing of the upcoming elections, stating that the Election Commission has set the date for the last week of January.
He cited a 54-day election campaign period for political parties after completing constituency work.
Moreover, he discussed efforts to stabilise the national currency and combat smuggling as part of the caretaker government's actions to address economic issues.
