PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman urged the Muslim community to take a stand against Israel.

He emphasised the need for active political engagement and criticised lethargy. He also expressed gratitude for the participation of various political parties in a conference and recognised the achievements of Mufti Mahmood.

Fazlur Rehman discussed global changes since the Soviet Union's fall, questioning the role of the United States and emphasising the importance of the Muslim Ummah uniting against Israel.

He lamented the secularisation of Pakistan and called for a return to its Islamic roots.

He criticised attempts to exclude his party from politics and emphasised the importance of stable democracy. He also expressed the desire for global investment and clarified that they wear turbans as a symbol of pride.

The JUI (F) chief underscored the commitment to constructive political discourse and claimed progress by the PDM government but highlighted that ordinary citizens have not yet benefited from it.
