Noman helps his father make shoes after coming back from school
LAHORE (Web Desk) - Noman Bashir is truly a success story for the differently-abled people. He cannot walk as he is disabled by birth.
But, he has not allowed his disability to be an impediment in his way. Apart from disability, Noman’s family is also financially weak. He supports his father to run the household expenses and continue his studies.
Despite his disability and poor financial status, Noman has made history by clinching the top position in his matric examination.
A student of Government Special School of Hafizabad, Noman clinched first position in the province in the matric exam conducted by the Special Education Board.
He clinched first position by obtaining 758 out of 1,100 marks.
Noman and his teacher Asma Batool were awarded medal and certificate by Special Education Secretary Saima Saeed and UNICEF’s representative.
“I used to help my father in making shoes after coming back from the school to meet my expenses,” he said after receiving the medal. He added that he wanted to study computer sciences in future.
