Steps afoot to ensure 100 per cent immunisation coverage: Health Minister
ISLAMABAD (APP) - Federal Caretaker Minister for Health Dr Nadeem Jan on Sunday appealed to parents to get their children vaccinated against various deadly diseases.
In a video message about immunisation of children released here, the minister said that effective measures were being taken to ensure 100 per cent immunisation coverage.
He said that the Health Ministry was determined to ensure universal health coverage.
“Innocent children are our future and they need regular medical care particularly their safety against various diseases through regular vaccination,” added Dr Jan.
He said that frontline health workers were the real heroes of our immunisation program who performed their duties with dedication and devotion.
