Punjab Group of Colleges students clinch top positions in 2023 Inter results

Muhammad Ahmed bags second position with 1,055 marks and Syed Zohair Ali third in Lahore
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The education boards across Punjab announced the Intermediate (Part-II) 2023 annual examinations results on Wednesday and students of the Punjab Group of Colleges once again clinched top positions.
The Punjab Group of Colleges secured the overall second and third positions in the Lahore Board examination whose pass percentage was 58 per cent as 109,000 students appeared successful.
As many as 190,512 candidates participated in the first annual examinations of Lahore Board - more than 100,000 girls and 87,180 boys.
Two of the first three positions of the Lahore board were bagged by students of the Punjab Group of Colleges. Muhammad Ahmed obtained second position with 1,055 marks while Syed Muhammad Zohair Ali remained third with 1,050 marks.
Muhammad Ahmed and Syed Zohair Ali belong to Punjab Group of Colleges' Ferozepur Road, Lahore, campus.
In the Faisalabad board results, the Punjab Group of Colleges secured two prominent positions - Rida Waheed of Daewoo Road Faisalabad bagged first position with 1,060 marks, Fatima Khan of Jaranwala Road and Bilal Rana of Rajana Road, Toba Tek Singh, shared third position with 1,056 marks.
Ahmed from Punjab College, Rashidabad, Multan bagged first position with 1,069 marks, Abdul Moeed of Punjab College Multan and Noor Fatima of Punjab College, Burewala shared third position with 1,060 marks. Maryam Kharal of Punjab Group of Colleges bagged fifth position with 1,050 marks.
Sargodha Education Board
In Sargodha board, the overall first and third positions went to the Punjab Group of Colleges. Muniba got first position with 1,051 marks and Aina Iqbal secured third position with 1,048 marks.
The annual examinations of intermediate Part-II session 2021-23 bagen on May 20 and continued till June 3.
Gujranwala Education Board
In the Gujranwala education board results, the pass percentage remained 56.11 per cent as 139,311 candidates appeared in the examinations, of which 78,167 were declared successful.
Bahawalpur Education Board
The success rate in part two examinations of the Bahawalpur board remained 57.46 per cent as 57, 443 candidates took part in the exams and 33,006 candidates got success.
Multan Education Board
In Multan, as many as 44,541 out of 74,635 candidates were declared successful and success ratio was 68.59 per cent.
Students of Lodhran took the lead in the examinations.
The overall pass percentage of Lodhran was 98.80 per cent, Multan (98.51 per cent), Khanewal (98.78 per cent) and Vehari (98.65 per cent).
