Flag-lowering ceremony attracts large crowd at Wagah border

LAHORE (Dunya News) – A large crowd took part in the flag-lowering ceremony held at the Wagah border on the eve of 76th Independence Day of Pakistan.

 

People from all walks of life attended the flag-lowering ceremony in which Rangers performed the parade.

On the occasion, the public chanted slogans in favour of the country and the atmosphere of Wagah border echoed with ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans during the ceremony.

Preparations are in full swing to celebrate the 76th Independence Day with great zeal in the country.

 

A large number of stalls are being witnessed at the main avenues, markets and streets of all cities and towns of the country.

National flags, pin badges, green and white dresses, toys and other accessories have been put on display on the stalls.

The day would be celebrated all across the country with flag-hoisting ceremonies, tributes to the national heroes and fireworks.
