Tessori praises police for maintaining peace during Ashura

People-friendly attitude of police can ensure crime control: Kamran Tessori
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori praised on Saturday the police for maintaining peace in the city on the occasion of Ashura.
Additional Inspector General of Police (Karachi) Javed Alam Odho called on Tessori. Both the Sindh governor and Odho discussed the role of the police in maintaining law and order.
On this occasion, Tessori clarified that the protection of citizens' lives was his top priority. "The role of surveillance cameras is very important for crime prevention," he added.
"The people-friendly attitude of the police can ensure crime control", said Tessori.
Odho said: "The police are keeping a full vigil to maintain the law and order situation".
