JUI-F workers' sacrifices will not go in vain: PDM spokesperson
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) spokesperson Hafiz Hamdullah said on Sunday that the Bajaur blast was an attempt to attack the democratic forces.
Expressing his thoughts, he said: "The attack on Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) workers' convention is an open act of terrorism. Its aim is not jihad but to spread anarchy and unrest in the country".
"It is the state's responsibility to initiate an inquiry into the Bajaur blast. The sacrifices of the JUI-F workers will not go in vain. The motive behind the blast is to sabotage the JUI-F's efforts to uphold the constitution," he lamented.
Hamdullah asserted: "This is not an attack on the JUI-F but on democracy. The JUI-F will respond to the blast in the next elections."
The PDM spokesperson made it clear that no negligence will be tolerated in providing medical aid to the injured in the Bajaur blast.
