Shujaat consults with Sarwar over caretaker setup
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) on Wednesday stressed the need for holding the general elections on time.
Former Punjab governor Chaudhry Sarwar called on PML-Q supremo Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain. During the meeting, both the leaders discussed the matters in line with the caretaker setup.
Shujaat hoped that the allied parties' consultations will result in the unified choice of the caretaker prime minister.
"To advance the country, it is imperative that the constitutional means be used," the former prime minister added.
Sarwar, on the other hand, believed that there should be no controversy, regarding the caretaker setup.
On the occasion, PML-Q leader Chaudhry Shafay Hussain was also present.
