Wapda chairman briefs PM on hydroelectric projects

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) chairman retired Lt Gen Sajjad Ghani called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Monday, Dunya News reported.
The chairman briefed the prime minister on the ongoing hydroelectricity and low-cost energy generation projects in the country.
He also briefed the premier on the pace of progress on mega dams including Dasu, Diamer-Bhasha and Mohmand. He also apprised him of the effects of recent rains on the water reservoirs in the country.
