DIPALPUR (Dunya News) - A couple died when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a rashly-driven tractor-trailer in Deepalpur on late Sunday night, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the accident occurred on Pakpattan Road near Adda Dilawar Kot where a speeding tractor-trailor hit a motorcycle, killing a man identified as Afzal and his wife Mumtaz Bibi on the spot.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies to the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) hospital. According to police, the driver of the tractor-trailer managed to escape from the scene after the accident.
